Service Planning
FieldAssist contains a planning module with several planboards:
• Gantt Chart Planboard
• Graphical Planboard
• Geographical Planboard
Gantt Chart Planboard
The Gantt Chart Planboard shows several orders in a time schedule. When the planning department receives a service order, the planner can easily get an overview of the engineers available to handle this order.
The colors in the planboard indicate the status of the orders. In this way the planner can directly see when an order is finished or delayed. He can inform the customer, reschedule the order to another time or transfer it to another engineer who is available at that moment.
Geographical Planboard
The Geographical Planboard shows the location of all engineers. Thanks to GPS, the planner is able to see all the engineers. When an urgent service order comes in, a planner can easily see which engineer is closest to the order. In combination with the Gantt Chart Planboard it can be checked if that engineer has time to handle the order.
Graphical Planbord
On the Graphical Planbord you can see the service orders per engineer. The planboard has the look & feel of Outlook, which makes it easy to understand.
Planning assistant
FieldAssist Planning also contains a Planning Assistant. This assistant can help the planner by distributing his orders. The assistant, after filling out some requirements (required knowledge of the engineer, region and location of the engineer etc.) gives the best suitable engineer for that specific order. This is an advice, the planner can determine which engineer he assigns the order to.
Planviewer
It can be useful for the Management Team or for the Service Manager to always have an up-to-date overview of the total planning. Herefore we have developed the FieldAssist Planviewer. The Planviewer offers customers the possibility to view the planning in 'real-time' without the option of making any adjustments, as this is the responsibility of the planner. This is especially very useful for companies that set KPI's or responsetimes with their customers. When the planning seems to run out, the responsible manager can directly see this on his screen and take necessary actions.
Advantage
Thanks to the Planningmodule of FieldAssist, the planners in the office are able to plan the engineers more efficiently. They always have an up-to-date overview of the whole planning and can easily make adjustments and shift orders easily. They can also see directly where the engineers are and with the planningassistent they can find the best suitable engineer for a certain service order.
