FieldAssist

BackOffice Integration

Architecture FieldAssist

FieldAssist DataCenter is the heart of the FieldAssist application Suite. All information exchanged between the (back)-office and the mobile workers is gathered in this system. FieldAssist can be connected or intergrated to any installed ERP, CRM or Service Management System based on XML-components.

Connectivity Bridge
FieldAssist uses the Connectivity Bridge. This is the standard interface which enables FieldAssist DataCenter to integrate and communicate with several applications (own and 3rd parties). In this way the integration of FieldAssist to any ERP and CRM systems can be simplified.

The Connectivity Bridge contains the datamodel of FieldAssist. The Connectivity Bridge makes sure that all the incoming data traffic will be transfered to the right place within FieldAssist, in the right way and in the right shape.

Connection Builder
This is a "mapping tool" in order to connect datafiles, via XML messages. The datafiles which are sent from the Backoffice will be connected to the datafiles in FieldAssist with the help of the Connection Builder. In the Connection Builder the format of the datafiles of ERP-systems is laid down, in order to be converted to data in the Connectivity Bridge. The Connection Builder is originated to connect every ERP-package with the Connectivity Bridge.

FieldAssist supports all current types of networks such as wireless networks (GPRS, GSM-Data, Mobitex and 3-G-networks such as UMTS), fixed telephone lines and internet connections.
